Campaign Season is Back!!

Special Election Strategy Session:

Help us keep Nancy Pelosi from winning another House seat!!!

This Wednesday, Sanford Hall– Room 309
7PM

Dear College Republicans,

Thought the campaign season was behind us? Think again!

As most of you probably know, the Honorable U.S. Represenative Charlie Norwood (R-GA 10) recently lost his battle with cancer. In order to replace Mr. Norwood, Governor Sonny Perdue has called for a special election that will take place on June 19.

Despite the fact that GA-10 is a Republican district on paper, the Democrats have an opportunity to pick up the open seat. Many pundits believe that the confusing nature of the special election process may allow the Dems to capture Norwood’s seat and pad their majority in the U.S. House of Representatives.

We cannot allow this to happen! Recognizing our status as one of the largest (if not the largest) grassroots organizations in the district, leaders in the local and state GOP have asked our CR chapter to make significant contributions to Republican efforts to retain this critical seat. UGA CR will answer their call to action.

This Wednesday at 7PM, we will gather in Sanford Hall (Room 309) in order to discuss UGA CR’s role in the upcoming election. In addition to debating the merits of the different candidates, we will also discuss different campaign strategies.

I hope to see you this Wednesday! Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to get on the ground floor of a campaign for U.S. Congress!

Sincerely,
David Ballard
