Executive Director: The Executive Director shall supervise all of the appointed officers, shall work with each of the appointed officers to develop a written agenda, shall monitor the appointed officers’ progress towards implementing their agendas, and shall be responsible for planning and coordinating all UGA CR meetings and events.

Athens Tax Day Tea Party A Success!!

On April 15th, over 275 college students and working Americans came together at the Arch in downtown Athens to show that we will not be silent anymore. The rally featured State Representative Bob Smith, State Senator Bill Cowesrt, CR Chairman Greg Wilson and Congressman Jack Kingston. We also received letters of support from Congressman Paul Broun and US Senator Johnny Isakson. 

It was evident that “we are not alone” and that a movement has begun in America. There were over 800 tea parties [...]

We are living in an age of bailouts, government control of corporations and a tax structure that punishes those who are productive. We are seeing a pace of government expansion that rivals President Roosevelt’s New Deal. We the productive and hard working Americans will rise up in peaceful protest on April 15th.
