State Representative Bob Smith will speak to the UGA College Republicans at 7:30 on Wednesday, April 6 in room 101 of the Student Learning Center.
Smith is a Republican representative for the 113th District and is vice-chairman of appropriations (Higher Education) dealing with University-wide issues. He is also on the Legislative and Congressional Reapportionment, Public Utilities and Telecommunications, and Rules Committees.
Rep. Smith will speak about the past General Assembly session as well as address many controversial issues such as the statewide indoor smoking ban and funding for the University system.
