Positions for the fall

Executive Director: The Executive Director shall supervise all of the appointed officers, shall work with each of the appointed officers to develop a written agenda, shall monitor the appointed officers’ progress towards implementing their agendas, and shall be responsible for planning and coordinating all UGA CR meetings and events.

Public Relations Director: The Public Relations Director shall be in charge of advertising UGA CR meetings and events; shall handle all relations with the University of Georgia, Athens-Clarke County, Georgia, and national press; and shall work with the Political Director to ensure that the message of the Republican Party reaches the UGA student body, members of the Athens-Clarke County Community, and other potential voters.

Finance Director: The Finance director shall  be   of all fundraising operations of the UGA College Republicans including T-Shirt Sales, % Nights, Letter Campaigns, Speaking Engagements and other activtieis. They are responsible for creating a fundraising plan and leading the fundraising committee.

Committees

Issues Awareness & Advocacy: This committee will be the driving force behind educating the campus about conservative and Republican viewpoints. The committee will market these issues on campus through a variety of ways, including flyers, videos, editorials and rallies.

External Affairs (Grassroots): During the campaign season, this committee campaigned across the state for Republican candidates. During off years, the External Affairs committee will better our relations with local, state, and national Republican organizations, as well as producing an alumni newsletter for supporters, alumni and friends of the chapter.

Veterans Affairs: This new committee will work to honor our Armed forces with events honoring our veterans on Veterans Day and Memorial Day. They will also lead our 9/11 memorial project and serve as the coordinator for our support the troops supply drives.
