Wanted: Energetic, hard-working interns seeking to gain political experience and knowledge through a campaign internship during Fall Semester 2009 or Spring Semester 2010. Interns should be proficient in their use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and have an overall “Bring It On” attitude when it comes to supporting Karen in her efforts to be Georgia’s next great Governor!

Duties as an Intern:

-answer phones in a polite, organized manner

-make phone calls concerning events

-research information about elected officials/leaders

-organize/ help at events (hand out stickers and information, get volunteers)

-set up mailings/ mail mergers!

-run occasional errands (post office, office depot, etc.)

-gather data (events, biographies, county profiles)

-help with other necessary office tasks

Pay: This is an unpaid internship. However, this experience will strengthen your resume immensely, while you gain numerous political contacts. Also, when needed, Karen will be more than happy to write any intern a letter of recommendation for an undergraduate, graduate, or career position.
