Hi everyone,

Last week, our country elected a new president, and while the campaign has ended and while we all have worked hard throughout it, now the real work begins.  We have a unique opportunity to rebuild the Republican Party, consolidate the ideals that this party is based upon, and unify those who believe in them.  You have the chance to be part of the leadership in this effort by joining the UGA College Republican Executive Board!

This Wednesday, we will have guest speaker Commissioner John Oxendine update the chapter on the state of Georgia and its economy, and we will also host nominations for Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and Membership Director.  Please note that applications for the positions of Executive Director, Public Relations Director, Political Director and Team Leader Director.  This meeting will be this Wednesday (11/12) at 7 p.m. in SLC 214.  Also, after the meeting, we have a trip to go bowling!

At the meeting this Wednesday, we will have absentee applications to vote in the Runoff Election for Senator Saxby Chambliss (http://sos.georgia.gov/ELECTIONS/elections/voter_information/absentee.htm).  In support of Saxby, the College Republicans have been invited to attend:
