Wednesday night I spoke to the University of Georgia College Republicans—a club that I served as chairman of in 1980 as a sophomore at UGA. There were about 200 students and local citizens in attendance, and we signed up many volunteers for the campaign. I appreciate so much all that the College Republicans have done to build our majority in Georgia—and all they did in 2004 to help re-elect President Bush by sending volunteers across our state and to Florida. For me, it all began in College Republicans working to build our Party among young people, and I remain committed to that objective today. I want to thank Andrew Dill, chairman of the UGA College Republicans and Grant Mintz for all they do to support our Party and its candidates.
