College Republican Meeting Minutes 9/17/08

Co-Chairman Josh Findlay went through announcements:
-Team Leader Program (Andrew Laarhoven) has three committees: Fundraising (Chaired by Bryan Cruce), Issues and Awareness (Chaired by Matt Ralston), and Grassroots Campaigning (Chaired by Natalie Stroud).
-Goddard Express Trip
-Chairman Everhart will speak next Wednesday

UGA CR Hosts Northeast Georgia Grassroots Training Session

Last week, UGA CR heard from Major General Rick Goddard, an impressive candidate running in one of the hottest Congressional races in the country!
This week we will learn how to send men like General Goddard to Washington.

Nancy Pelosi’s Worst Nightmare Visits UGA CR

This week UGA CR has the honor of hosting Retired Air Force Major General Rick Goddard, the Republican candidate seeking to replace Democrat Jim Marshall as the representative for Georgia’s 8th Congressional District.

The Washington Post recently reported that General Goddard is the "crown jewel" of the Republican Party’s candidates for Congress in 2008.

National pundits have declared the battle between Goddard and Marshall to be one of the hottest Congressional races in the country!
