The Army and Air Force ROTC at the University of georgia will be hosting the annual “UGA’s 9-11 Tribute 2.5 mile Run” on September 11th, 2009. Runners will experience a tribute to the firemen and women and police men and women who acted so bravely on 9-11-01, as well as a salute to today’s military and their service to the nation. When: At 6:00 AM the gates will open at Sanford Stadium. At 6:15 AM the Tribute will begin and by 6:45 AM Runners will mover from the stadium to the start line for the run.
Where: Run will form up on the Sanford Stadium field West Entrance.
