As you know, 2010 was a momentous year for Republicans in Georgia. For the first time in the history of our great state, we achieved the milestone of every statewide official in Georgia being a Republican. Nationwide, we saw ordinary Americans realize that common sense government, fiscal conservatism and consistent values are the way to make our great nation prosperous again.
This victory was not done without the effort of College Republicans at the University of Georgia. Through express trips, activism events and awareness meetings, our organization spent over 3,000 hours campaigning for the conservative cause in 2010.
In the summer of 2011, a group of over 20 College Republicans from the state of Georgia travelled, by 16 hour van ride, into Wisconsin to campaign in recall State Senate races that made national news.
The results were the same. Conservative principles that make America great won out.
In a battle of ideas, we win.
In a battle of work ethic, we win.
In a battle of the heart, we win.
The University of Georgia College Republicans have the work ethic to act on the heart to share the ideas that will get America back on track and send the current resident of the White House back to the private sector. Time and time again we have proven ourselves to be the grassroots powerhouse of not only Republicans in Georgia, but the entire nation.
But we cannot do it alone. Our organization does not receive funding from the State Republican Party or the University of Georgia. We operate solely through independent financial contributions from fellow Republicans like you.
