Who are we:

UGA’s chapter of College Republicans is the nation’s largest chapter. We are the official representatives of the Georgia Association of College Republicans and the College Republican National Committee on campus at UGA. We have been recognized for our excellence in campaign work, campus outreach, bringing in high-profile speakers and training some of the brightest minds of the political and public policy world. Our organization has been an active force in elections at the campus, local, statewide and national levels. We have traveled across the southeast for presidential elections, organized rallies for gubernatorial candidates and we have provided hundreds of volunteer hours to local campaigns.

CRs at UGA is the political home of all on-campus beliefs within the Republican Party. From moderates to conservatives and everyone in between, we pride ourselves on uniting our party, and we support and encourage a respectful and open dialogue. The diverse opinions within our party make us grow healthy and strong, and we welcome intellectual debate at any level.

What we do:

CRs at UGA serves three main purposes. First, we aim to educate members of the UGA community about the principles of the Republican Party. Second, we aid in the election of Republican candidates at the local, state and national levels. Third, we seek to develop the political skills and leadership abilities of our members in order to prepare them for future service to the Republican Party and their community.

To achieve these goals, CRs at UGA offers many unique experiences, including our weekly chapter meetings, opportunities for networking which can lead to internships and employment, a venue to develop leadership skills and professional behavior, face-to-face interaction with elected officials and a central gathering point around which like-minded Republicans on campus can build lasting friendships.

While the College Republicans at the University of Georgia welcomes the multitude of different views from the political figures we host at our meetings, the beliefs of our guests do not necessarily reflect the beliefs of our organization or our members, and therefore, should not be considered representatives of the College Republicans at UGA.
